This is Madina, Guttermouth's booking agent. Bad news for the Portland show tonight. The band's van broke down in Redding CA. If this was the only problem, that wouldn't be so insurmountable. BUT I'm told the 5 freeway between Redding and Portland is pretty much shut down due to the weather problem that the west coast of CA is experiencing. We are SO SORRY about Portland!!
We hope the road situation improves in time that they will make it to Tacoma and Seattle. Stay tuned.

The sarcasm and aggression never tipped the band into pure negativity, though. Perhaps a degree of youthful innocence remains. Adkins actually did discover punk rock as a school boy. In eighth grade in 1978, he dug into the initial L.A. punk scene as it gathered steam - from Orange County to Hollywood.

If you live in Cali you have lots of chances to catch Guttermouth this Summer. Guttermouth is playing the Pomona, San Francisco, and Ventura dates of the Warped Tour this year. Then in July they have additional shows in Lompoc, Fresno, and Orangevale.
Then in August Guttermouth will be heading to Florida and South Carolina for a mini-tour with supporting band Does It Matter.

On a Friday morning, Guttermouth front man Mark Adkins talks for more than an hour over the telephone from his home in San Clemente, Calif. about, politics, honesty, distance running, guitar down strokes, Hot Topic stores, paddle boarding, real estate values, self-imposed racial segregation and several other topics related or un-related to punk rock.
